While the combo was in the belt clip, it caught on something, and detached (the battery and main bracket -- the phone stayed in the belt clip) and fell to the ground. The battery pack popped open on two sides; fortunately the battery just snapped closed without any damage.

The printed part, however, didn't fair as well; it have landed on the thumb tab, which snapped off (see photo).
