One version offers better protection but is way more difficult to mount to the cam plate and to remove the GP from the case.
The other is designed to allow removal from the cam top base easier and to allow removal of the gopro easier. it also designed to hold a crossfire immortal T antenna with just 2 zip ties. You'd need to mount the crossfire RX towards the front of the stack to utilize this feature. You would also need to install 2 20mm standoffs inside the cam cage and change the screws
