Designed for a #6 Hillman nut (Lowes) and 1/2 screw. Mount both the plastic and metal disks provided with the AP ( plastic disk is flimsy on the AC pros and the metal disk helps). This should give just enough clearance so the 1/2 screw will be flush with the top of the bracket.
