A device which senses for smoke in the air near a 3d printer and will sound an alarm and turn off the power if smoke is detected. This is useful to prevent extensive damage in an electrical failure. The device also adds another layer of protection to restore peace of mind about running a 3d printer unattended. In light of the many recent 3d printer electronic fires and catastrophes, I created this as a solution to lessen the destruction of these events.
