Being in the moving business we use large, ex-large, & small rubber bands to hold the blanket on the furniture when we wrap the pad around the object to move! Sometimes these bands break and the only options are to tie a knot in them or ditch them. Tying a knot decreases the size of the band quite a bit more than using this clip.
