I setup a new desk using a Mount-It brand monitor/laptop mount. I also added a USB-C docking station for the laptop.
This small shelf mounts to the vertical part of the monitor mount and gives me some place to put the USB-C Docking station. It hides it perfectly behind my monitor so you can't see it or any of the cables.
