Designed a handle for my recently purchased Bayite ferro rod. The ferro rod measures 6 inches x 0.5 inches. The handle has a hole in it that lines up with the drilled hole in the rod. I did this so a piece of paracord can be inserted to tie the two pieces together. Remove the paracord so the ferro rod may be replaced.

Once the ferro rod is inserted into the handle, approximately 4.8 inches stick out from the handle. Lots of surface area to make some great sparks!
