Original part is made of cast iron. Cast iron is quite fragile, so it has broken after short time of rough usage. ABS plastic is much more flexible, so it doesn`t break easily. The project supposed to be an experiment only, but it occured to be amazingly durable. It has been working for over a year. So I decided to post this model for you.
