28mm Barbwire Terrain Base

This is a simple base for 28mm WW1 or WW2 wargaming barbwire terrain.

I put in angled 2mm holes, for the wooden toothpicks to make the support lattice. To make the barbwire I twisted 28 gauge wire then rolled it around a 12mm dowel to make the lengths.

I covered the base with CA glue and added sand. Painted it with Dark Grey paint and dry-brushed with a Light Grey. The tooth picks were painted Brown. I added some tufts of grass for visual interest.
