An "upgraded" template with both a larger 35mm trench floor and a 25mm trench floor.
Designed for creating modular wargaming boards using trenches recessed into the board; place the template on the vertical side of your board, align the two outer points with the surface level, then draw around the outside of the template once you have the trench positioned appropriately.
Arrow points towards the front of the trench system (ie towards the enemy).
Trench profile is based on a standard WW1 fire trench, scaled appropriately to a 28mm figure.
Outer template:
Fire step is 30mm wide, trench bottom is 35mm wide to allow for placement of boards/metalwork/etc inside the cutout volume and still retain a good clearance for 25-30mm diameter bases. Total depth required to fully immerse trench into board 42mm. In addition there is a 5mm parapet which is meant to sit above the surface level of the board.
Inner template:
As above however the firestep is 20mm wide and the trench bottom
