Yet another adapter for a 40mm fan, this attaches to the 30mm fan mount on a Monoprice Select Mini v1 with the original screws, and holds a 40mm fan in place by friction only, which seems to work fine.
It has only been tested with the Tronxy fan shown in the images, so you might have to adjust the shape of the 40mm mount in the OpenSCAD code if it's not a good fit for your fan.
