I have a Vanguard Endeavor spotting scope. I decided it would be nice to be able to attach a camera to the scope. Vanguard sells an adapter for that purpose but I decided to make one myself.
The camera I decided to use is an original Sony RX100. This was already equipped with a Lensmate filter adapter which takes 49mm filters.
This adapter screws on to the threads on the scope, and allows anything that takes 49mm filters to be attached. Other thread sizes could be adapted to 49mm or this could
