Induro Tripod Leg Retainer

I like to carry my spotting scope mounted on the tripod with the legs extended. I can do this over my shoulder, or holding the tripod near the top where it balances either in my hand or supported by a sling. The problem is when the legs separate and drag on the ground.
This object will help keep the legs together and still be easy to open the legs when I stop to observe.
