Chinese Windlass

This is the Chinese Windlass model from 507 Mechanical Movements: http://507movements.com/mm_129.html and http://507movements.com/mm_352.html

You will need a 3/8" dowel, 2x 1/2" #6 sheet metal screws and 1 3/4" #8 machine screw and nut. It is best to assemble everything on the dowel, pilot drill through handle and spool, screw screws in, and cut the dowel ends flush.
