Modular Icosahedron

Print 20 of these modules and assemble a beautiful organic icosahedron! No need of glue, parts snap swiftly.

After some experiments I did with paper (cutting circles and assembling with staples, see images) I wanted to build a 3D equivalent part that would convey (and exaggerate) some of the properties of the paper, like the soft bending and the imperfections that leave a nice negative star in the icosahedron vertex.
