Whirlpool Duet washer part

Ok so im working 12 hour shifts at work and leaving to go on vacation tomorrow. Well yesterday I put all my vacation clothes into the wash only to have the washer keep filling up, run water all over the floor, and throw an error code...
Great!! just what I needed. took the machine apart to find the little nipple broken off off a coupling that controls the water level. Part would have taken 2 weeks to get, and im leaving tomorrow morning. What to do?
