2018-06-03 Update:

I realized I was using a front mount Raspberry Pi which put's the bowden adapter at the correct height for me and not everyone has stuff hanging off the front like I do. For a quick solution I just made a 2.5mm spacer that you'll need to print if you don't have anything mounted to the front of your printer using the top screws.
