My spool is 24mm diameter so Aravons part didn't fit.

As in my pictures I find the spacers fit better over the T bar of the holder, this allows you to slide them to adjust the amount of width being used to better stabilise the reel whilest not being tight.
Created both a 22mm and 44mm spacer, just slide them around to fit.
