The Tronxy X1 is my first 3D printer. Like others, I found very quickly that the Z-axis quickly came quite loose, making the printer unusable.
My 'subtractive' design skills took over and I designed and built a small improvement which makes the Z-axis fully adjustable - both in initial setup and to compensate for wear down the track.
I folded a 20mm wide strip of 2mm thick steel into a U-shape with 32.5mm outside dimension and 10 & 12mm wide 'flanks'. As can be seen in the photos, 2 off M3x32m
