This is a remix of a similar fan cooling shroud, in the remix I cut the size of the ring, so it doesn't surround heatblock, redesigned the guides and fitted for use with 40mm fan. You can use PLA only for the part with out the heat from the extruder causing it to droop, the fan just sits inside, no special mounting required.
