2D to 3D Keyring Project
This is a very quick and easy to implement class (or home) activity that lets you make customised keyrings with no CAD required.
We are using the Flashforge software "FlashPrint" to convert 2D drawings into 3D models and laying them on to the pre designed keyring stl files attached.
You will find a PDF with all instructions, written simple enough for High school students to work direct from this sheet.
The aim is to get students printing something that can:
a) be printed in a single class
b) be achievable - with very little teacher intervention and NO prior 3D Printing or CAD
c) engage students in developing CAD and 3D Printing skills
