I looked at a lot of compact 2U PC cases for a build I was planning, and although there are some that have front panels with 4 x 80mm fans, all of those cases were too deep for my current network rack cabinet.The case that I decided on was only 12" deep and fit my needs perfectly, but he front panel was lacking and I didn't feel like 2 x 80mm fans would be sufficient. I decided to design my own front panel as I've seen a few designs for other rack mount cases on Thingiverse and other websites, just none that fit my case.This is my first time designing something from scratch, I used OnShape and was really happy how this turned out. All of the screw holes lined up perfectly on my test print. For printing on my printers I had to cut the front panel in half. I thus made the very front of the panel thicker by 5mm so that I could slice it and add have space for a dovetail to align the two halves correctly.
