2x4 Dimensional Lumber Hook for Lights

behold! my first upload. I made this for hanging Christmas string lights on my deck railing.
I made this hook for 2x4 dimensional lumber which is 3.5" wide, 1.5" tall. The hook tail on the bottom holds the clip in place when something weighted is added. It is designed so the hook loop falls approx half way down the 1.5" height of the lumber.
I haven't tested any weights but this feels strong. I would suggest test printing one to check sizing because all lumber is cut different.
