This is a frame designed to securely hold a standard 3.5" floppy disk and allow said disk to be hung from a lanyard. It uses notches present on most (if not all) floppy disks as a way to positively _click_ the disk in place and not allow it to fall out.
- Can be printed in PLA or PETG, though I haven't tested longevity with either. I assume PETG is more durable, but the retention works with both!
- I printed it with tree supports and only on build plate; any significant drooping would cause interference fit problems. You can try printing without, but I didn't want to waste plastic.
- Does not stress the disk in any way while in place. The retention mechanism __does not use friction__; it uses notches already present in the disk itself locating with slight bumps on the frame.
- Following along with the above, this only supports inserting disks with the shutter facing downwards. You can put a disk in with the shutter facing up, however the retention mechanism will work via friction inst
