Makes
This is a simple, fully 3D-printable 3-hole paper punch made for standard binders. It uses a hinged design with three aligned holes and a removable pin so it’s easy to assemble and works smoothly once put together.
I designed this as a lightweight, practical alternative to a store bought hole punch. It prints easily, doesn’t need anything fancy to assemble, and gets the job done for everyday, light duty use.
What it does:
Standard 3-hole spacing
Simple hinge with a removable pin
Easy to print, minimal fuss
Compact and portable
A few notes:
Printed with PLA
Not meant for heavy stacks of paper
Strength and performance depend on your print settings
Needs supports
5 hours to print all parts
Assemble:
1) Put Part 2 on top of Part 1, so that the parts are lined up correctly.
2) Slide Part 3 through the new found tunnel, while then enclosing it with Part 3.5, locking the axle in place.
3) Slide Part 4 through the opening in Part 2, finishing the 3 hole punch.
4) Enjoy!
