My holes were... no no no, not going to do that.
These holes measure 4.8mm wide, 13mm deep, and 27.6mm apart. And the metal shelf pins keep falling out when I leaned on the shelf, to the point that the pin no longer tightly fit. So I distributed the force to the adjacent holes.
Version 3 has a nice curved shelf hook bit so things are less likely to catch on it.
