Queen detection

In the case of a colony which one wonders if there is a queen or not. we take some larvae in a neighboring hive that we put in cups, we place the cup holder between 2 populous frames and we leave 24 hours and the next day if it is cleaned like new it is almost on there is a virgin if it begins breeding is that it is orphan. In this case either we put the primers and touch more for a month or we can reintroduce a CR or a queen.
