LED can light bracket

Bought [this 3" can light from Home Depot](https://www.homedepot.com/p/3-in-Matte-White-Recessed-LED-Lighting-Kit-with-GU10-Bulb-Included-313LPLAW/301729393) ([available on Amazon too](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MPXT553/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B01MPXT553&linkCode=as2&tag=perljamnet-20&linkId=99ce99830aef303b7ac541272c1c19cd)) to use in my basement 3D printing lab as an always-on nightlight. I have open joists in the ceiling, so I couldn't simply cut a
