As you can see from the attached picture, I broke the tension arm on my extruder. I did have a replacement for it but I wanted to make a stronger version. For the roller bearing axle shaft I used a piece of 1/8" brass round bar from my local hobby shop. I cut it slightly longer than the width of the arm, inserted the bearing and roller, inserted the brass shaft then hit the ends of the brass rod with hammer to flare them out. I'm attaching the AutoCAD .dwg file so you can tweak as necessary.
