It seems like the fans vibrations or fan blades themselves cause some trouble with tracking.
I have to investigate and have set this thing as "work in progress" for now.

This very cheap upgrade to your HTC Vive requires an "USB Mini Octopus Laptop Fan" and 2 cable zip ties.
These fans can be found either on ebay, amazon, aliexpress etc. for under 5$.

For the power source you have to use the USB socket from your HTC Vive HMD.
