I made some changes. The spool sits higher now, and there's a middle piece that strengthens the top and guides the filament. The fit-up on the middle piece is very snug to keep things from moving.

After using this for a couple weeks, I'm seeing it needs a bit more work. It works great most of the time, but one of my rolls is a bit temperamental and the filament jumps off fairly often, especially when printing larger objects. I'm updating the top pieces to make it taller and t
