I adapted a standing Groot to fit the key chain volleyball of my sister.
The sphere this is designed for is exactly 29mm in Diameter so for a differently sized sphere you would have to adjust the print size accordingly. 100 * d / 29 should give you the scale percentage to print, where d is the diameter of your sphere.
