This is a 3d-printable version of the so-called "623h bearing housing" for the Prusa i3 MK3.
In [this step of the Prusa manual](https://manual.prusa3d.com/Guide/2.+Y-axis+assembly/507?lang=en#s8137) it is used for the Y-Axis, but I think it's the same for the X-Axis.
I think a part like this definitely doesn't have to be out of metal; it's just an idler... :)
