And if you do, use it for decoration; not for hot ends!!!
And if you really, really want to use it for a hot end, then use the PLA print to then make a mold, and THEN mold it in silicone, which can stand higher temperatures.
This is a 3D model of a silicone thermal sock that came with my Swiss All Metal Hot End. It looks like a hard thing but it's actually soft, like rubber, and is high temperature resistant, and you wrap it around the heater block of the hot
