The design is a backward derivative of the Yoshimoto cube. It **does not flex**. It can be used as a first step toward the whole Yoshimoto cube. Mathematically, four copies will make a cube. Two spiky ones will make a stellated dodecahedron with 12 rhombic spikes. Two hollow ones will make a hollow cube that can hold a stellated dodecahedron. The rest is left to your imagination.
