Intex pool Skimmer Stabilizer

I have created this stabilizer to improve my skimmer performance and extend its lifetime. I have an Intex Ultra pool with metal tubing at the top. The skimmer is attached to the tube using a molded plastic hook and fastened with screws. I am using my 3rd plastic hook already because over time they just break. You have to screw the hook very tight to the tubes for the skmmer to stay submerged in the water and over time this puts too much stress on the hook.
