I got sick of never knowing where the tv and sound system remotes were. We don't have an end table or a coffee table, so they were usually either lost in/under/behind the couch, or sitting on top of the entertainment center next to the TV (defeating the purpose of a remote control). So I made a pretty simple wall mounted remote control caddy so now I always know where they are.
