Mailing Tube Fly Rod Case

I designed this to fit over a mailing tube to turn it into a fly rod case with room for the reel. It's designed for a tube with OD 2-5/8", but I've provided all the Solidworks files so you can change that if you want it to fit a different size. That's just what I had laying around.

Note: I designed it so you could use a small piece of elastic material (rubber band, etc) to hold it closed. But you HAVE to print with supports for this to work, otherwise the little tabs the band goes around won'
