PVC Pipe Pivot/Swivel Joint

I wanted to make a set of cosplay wings using 1/2" PVC piping (Schedule 40), not the super thin stuff (that's Schedule 20).
I could not find a suitable and cheap swivel that allows pvc piping to pivot nicely at specific joints so the wings can be spread open or fully folded down. So I created my own.
