My Ihome (radio,clock,ipod player) died so I recicled the speakers with this cheap amp I bought on Ebay ; AC/DC 12V TDA7297 2x15W Digital Audio Amplifier DIY Kit Dual-Channel Module.

I made a smaller box for the speakers, I recommend to glue both parts.
