This is my Ancestral Trail fan art. I loved the Ancestral Trail magazines when I was a kid (published 1992-1994) and wanted to try and bring some of the fantastic illustrations to life.
All the original artwork for these magazines was produced by Julek Heller.
This is an engraved version of the design which I guess would look good with some dark ink in the recessed sections to make them stand out. I have also made an embossed version where the details sit above the background - https://www
