MR2 MWR cruise control extension

I purchased the aftermarket cruise control from Monkeywrench Racing for my 2003 Toyota MR2 Spyder. This has been a very good unit so far (6 months) and a very welcome addition to this old car, BUT the battery-powered wireless control module mounted to the steering wheel is hard to reach unless you have orangutan thumbs.
