Sáhkku, Tablut, and the game called Chukka or Dablo are traditional Sámi board games. Tablut and Cuhkka-Dablo are pure strategy games with no element of chance. Sáhkku comes in different variants — some are pure games of chance, comparable to Pachisi, others combine tactical skill and luck with the dice, and have more in common with Backgammon.
