You have seen plenty of them. I just wanted to do my own take on it. The difference? You just need to use a length of shock cord and tie a double-fisherman's knot on it, no screws or other nonsense. Print the two partsCut 1 foot or so of 3mm shock cordStart by running the cord through the hole in the lens cover push tabThen run it down both sides through the holes and out the backRun each side of cord to a hole on the mount. Now mount everything on your flashlight letting the shock cord ends dangleOnce it is in place, pull the cord tight and tie a double-fisherman's knot. The cord does double duty here - holding the mount clamp in place as well as for flipping the cap out of the way.
