At least one of my leaf springs would break every meet and it was getting old waiting for replacements to show up.

Soooo, I designed a replacement that would not break.

The Cons

If you're interested in maximum articulation, stick with the metal leaves. The walking beam articulates fine for my tastes (see videos), but there is no longer any "spring".
