Stairs Rail Baby Gate Extension

My stair rail post was too far from the wall for the baby gate to reach and the hand rail was nailed on a little too low for the bracket from Spacecow1 to work, so I modified it in Tinkercad to add a 40 degree notch to go around the hand rail.

Uses a 2x2 piece of wood between the bottom and top brackets. 1/4-20 Nuts and 1/4-20X 1-1/2 Screws.
