This is a light-touch switch that requires little pressure to activate. The switch utilizes a detect switch connected to a 3.5 mono plug. This revised version now incorporates a spring to help stabilize the rounded tip of the lid. The spring may need to be trimmed depending on whether a screw is also used for mounting.

The mount uses a 1/4"-20 x 7/16" T-nut. This will allow the switch to be used with a wide variety of camera mounts with a standard 1/4"-20 connection.
