Big Steel Calipers

I needed some large calipers so I whipped some up on the plasma table. Each half is 12 inches long from the pivot point. It has a 3/8" hole because that was the only size wing nut I had. I suppose these would cut just fine out of acrylic or wood too. Welding required if you make them from steel.
