Sony Tripod VCT-870 shoe camera mount

This is a custom tripod mount/adapter/shoe for a Sony VCT-870RM tripod. I couldn't find the adapter available for sale, so I made one. You will need a 1/4" bolt to mount standard cameras/binoculars. The bolt slides into a slot on the adapter. The adapter slides into the tripod holder and the latch on the tripod is used to press the adapter in place.

I designed it using Sketchup desktop Pro and printed using AstroPrint with Cura slicer and AstroBox Raspberry Pi on my Prusa i3 MK3 printer. You
