I hate the antenna on the Taranis and installed a 2.4ghz 245802 v1.0 5dbi gain patch antenna. The antenna came with a ufl connector and sticky tape on it and you will have to install a male ufl connector onto the board or direct solder it. I have been using a Frsky X-lite for the last coupe of weeks and was really impressed with the range of the internal patch antenna. I race multigp and do not need crazy range.
